Peter B. Collins Presents Lenzi Sheible
Austin law student Lenzi Sheible is a 20-year-old mom who founded FundTexasChange.org in response to the passage of HB2, the sneaky package of laws that has already forced half of the abortion clinics in Texas to shut down. Sheible, who describes herself as tattooed and sporting a shaved head, tilts toward anarchism. She has raised $60,000 from individual donors, and has provided travel and paid for abortions for over 100 women so far. We discuss the failings of Republicans and Democrats in the fight over abortion rights, as she relates that most GOP voters in Texas are not as extreme as their legislators.
