Protesters Plant Pot Everywhere to Protest Conservative Marijuana Laws
In Gottingen, Germany, a small group of determined ‘Flower Children’ rogue-plant cannabis seed in the hundreds of thousands in defiance against the ‘demonization’ of a plant that has been proven to treat multiple ailments.
These pro-pot supporters examine Germany’s restrictive laws and regulations, discussing the plants abilities to do more than just geting people high, but getting them well.
Though the pot-planting activists are naturally meeting resistance with the local police throughout Germany, they are successfully getting not only local, but national and international attention, publicity and support for their protest with the multitudes of pot plants that are popping up all over the town. The discussion among the residents of not only Gottingen, but Germany and the world about the age-old question, ‘why’s marijuana illegal?
Though police pull the plants up wherever they sprout, there is no way they will be able to get them all short of calling in the military. Besides the enormous volume of the “wild” pot plants, blunder cannabis look-alike plants are yet another reason police are making slow progress in removing the plants. But they are told to always be vigilant about removing most things that looks like pot.
This form associated with guerilla gardening will be nothing new. Yet another activist gardener, Ron Finley, decided to start planting fruits, vegetables, and natural herbs in abandoned general public spaces like lots, traffic medians, and along curbsides in LA as an approach to improve his own neighborhood and offer food and neighborhood to his other people.
There are thousands of peer-reviewed medical journals proclaiming the efficiency of cannabis as a healing plant, so the activists’ questioning the current demonization of the plant is more than justified. The healing plant has become shown to help include those with depression, headaches, insomnia, osteoporosis, lack of appetite, digestive problems, as well as possessing the ability to manage untreatable seizures. Marijuana’s cancer fighting properties can no longer be denied, with the numerous studies proving that the plant can beat cancer.
The pot crops that appear in the police station in the little German town were removed immediately, nobody seems to know what really happened to them, but pot plants are still being advertised all over recreational and garden areas all across the city.
