Poland to take on more reserve soldiers

U.S. soldiers prepare to unload armor assets that have arrived near Drawsko Pomorskie, Poland, and will be used as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, Sept. 28, 2014.
The Polish Army could expand by an extra 22,000 reserve soldiers this year.
The figure is 7,000 higher than previously announced, radio station RMF FM has learnt.
A vast majority of these reserve soldiers will receive a five-day training to prepare them for a possible conflict.
RMF FM says that only those reservists who underwent military service or military training will be called for. They will be younger than 50 for standard reservists, and younger than 60 in the case of officers.
