Following the announcement in the New York Times that "A Faded Piece of Papyrus Refers to Jesus’ Wife", the media was buzzing with speculation as to whether or not Jesus was married: " 'Proof' Jesus was married found on ancient papyrus..." said the Mail Online! But just how much proof - or rather 'proof' - was there? And did it matter anyway?
