PTI celebrates 50th day of Nato supply blockade
PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest camp that has closed Nato shipment through Torkham entered 50th day on Saturday.
Workers celebrated the 50th day of the blockade by cutting a cake and vowed to continue it until a halt to drone attacks in Pakistan.
Workers from PK-5 participated in the camp yesterday while some leaders including chief minister’s advisor
Yaseen Khalil also visited the camp.
A delegation of workers from Karak came to the camp to express solidarity with the party activists in protest against the drone strikes.
Yaseen Khalil said that no power in the world could force them to lift the blockade until a complete halt to the US drone strikes.
He alleged that the federal government was not sincere in stopping drone strikes and that was the reason the US continued it.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other central and provincial leaders congratulated the party workers for taking the protest to the 50th day.
