Baku: GUAM [Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova] – United States Joint Statement was adopted, as a result of the meeting of the representatives of the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of GUAM with the representatives of the Government of the United States of America that took place in the margins of OSCE Ministerial meeting in Basel, APA reports.
The sides underscored the need for progress toward the peaceful resolution of the conflicts in the GUAM region.
The document says that the threat or use of force currently affecting the Member States of GUAM remains a serious concern.
The Sides reaffirmed their commitment to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the GUAM Member States. The Sides agreed to continue dialogue on these conflicts in the appropriate forums.
