A child was killed and another citizen was injured Sunday in terrorist mortar shells on al-Abbasiyyen and al-Ghassani residential areas in Damascus.
Damascus Police Command source told SANA that a mortar shell fell behind al-Abbasiyyen Hospital on a house, killing a 5 years old child and causing huge material damage to the house.

The source added that 2 mortar shells also fell on 2 houses near Church of Our Lady in Aleppo street in al-Ghassani area in Damascus, causing huge damage to the houses.

Meanwhile, Three citizens were killed and ten others injured when terrorists fired mortar rounds on al-Azizieh neighborhood in Aleppo, a source in Aleppo province said.
The source told SANA that mortar shells, fired by terrorists fell on al-Azizieh neighborhood, claiming the lives of three citizens, injuring 10 others and causing material damages to the properties.
Later, Nine citizens were killed while many others injured, most of them children and women, as terrorists launched rocket shells on al-Ashrafiya neighborhood in Aleppo, SANA delegate in Aleppo said.
One citizen killed, others injured in terrorist car bomb and rocket attacks in Homs
A terrorist car bomb went off near Tal Omri on the highway between Salamieyh city and Homs city.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that the terrorist bombing killed one citizen and injured others in addition to material damage.
The source noted that the authorities are working to repair the highway and restore traffic back to normal.
Later, terrorists fired two rockets on Jabbourin village in al-Rastan in the countryside, causing the injury of two citizens.
