Each year, about 1,400 underage Dutch girls are blackmailed into sex slavery by young migrants, known as 'loverboys', who charm the teens into becoming sex partners, photograph them and then coerce them into prostitution. The men are mostly Moroccans, Turks, Caribbeans, and Roma. The vulnerable girls often come from an unstable home of lower social class.
