They proudly went with FOX's Ollie North, a man who was once convicted on three felony counts for his role in illegally selling weapons of war to Iran, obstructing congressional investigations, and illegally destroying documents. I'm guessing that the bit about finding ways of selling weapons illegally really appealed to the NRA. I'm also guessing that gun-waving Judge Roy Moore turned them down.
