The Lougheed Martin F35 Flying POS: F35 Joint Strike (Out) Fighter - A $1.5 TRILLION Lemon!

I have done many articles now that expose the fraud of the Lougheed Martin F35 "Lightning II" so called "Joint Strike Fighter" that is absolutely the WORSE defense program imaginable for the United States and other nations that are stupid enough to buy this flying piece of s***..... And I have found some recent articles that show again how terrible this flying lemon truly is, that I want to share with my readers here...I first want to share with my readers a very important article that I just came across today, that comes from the 21st Century Wire website, at www.21stcenturywire.com, that shows clear evidence that this F35 flying lemon is not even a decent "fighter" aircraft and would quickly be blown out of the sky in any air to air combat.... The article is entitled: "F35 Joint Strike(Out) Fighter:  A $1.5 Trillion Lemon" and I have it right here for all of my own readers to view for themselves..... F35 Joint Strike (Out) Fighter: A $1.5 Trillion Lemon July 3, 2015 By 21wire 1 Comment 21st Century Wire says…As the millions of Americans wander the streets looking for nonexistent jobs and the government claims there is no money available for anything useful, rest assured that the private military industrial parasites have managed to somehow siphon off $1.5 trillion of public money into a boondoggle that even falls short of a jet developed way back in 1974.“There will be no gun until [the Joint Strike Fighter’s Block] 3F [software], there is no software to support it now or for the next four-ish years,” an Air Force official affiliated with the F-35 program told the Daily Beast. “Block 3F is slated for release in 2019, but who knows how much that will slip?”And then there’s the problem with the guns: “Equipped with a gun, Air Force’s F-35A version barely carries enough ammunition. Despite being able to shoot 3,300 rounds per minute, it will only be carrying 180 to 220 rounds.”You can imagine the crass rebuttal from the war hawks, as they puff on their imported Cohiba cigars, “Who cares. We got paid.”More on this latest financial black hole…Image Source: Wikicommons (Photos taken by User:Jwnabd)RT.comA mock air battle between an F-16 jet and the military’s new and oft-troubled F-35 stealth jet showed that the F-35 is too sluggish to hit an enemy plane or dodge gunfire, according to a report. The F-35 has cost the US military more than a trillion dollars since work on it began, making it the most expensive weapon in history. The mock air battle, staged in January over the Pacific Ocean, was to test the F-35’s prowess as a close-range dogfighter at 10,000 to 30,000 feet. The F-35 pilot was to fly his jet hard, turning and maneuvering to “shoot down” the older F-16 jet, whose pilot would be doing his best to evade being hit, and trying to attack the F-35.

The test pilot’s five-page brief said that despite the F-16 being weighed down by two drop tanks, and with the F-35 jet carrying no weapons, the F-35 “remained at a distinct energy disadvantage for every engagement.”The F-35 was designed to far exceed the fourth generation F-16 jets, first built in the 1970s, with the ability to carry its fuel and weapons internally. Yet aerodynamic problems, such as “insufficient pitch rate” for the jet’s nose while climbing, were reported during the mock battle. The F-35 test pilot also discovered he couldn’t comfortably move his head inside the jet’s cramped cockpit.“The helmet was too large for the space inside the canopy to adequately see behind the aircraft,” said the report. That allowed the F-16 to sneak up on him.The F-35 pilot tried to target the F-16 with the stealth jet’s 25-millimeter cannon, which the smaller F-16 easily dodged. The pilot said the F-35 performed so dismally that it had no place fighting other aircraft within visual range. In one maneuver, the F-35 was able to perform decently at rudder reversal at slow speeds, but this used a lot of the aircraft’s energy, leaving the aircraft vulnerable to attack. The brief release to the War is Boring website was unclassified but still marked “for official use only.” It documented a mock battle taking place on January 14, 2015 over a sea test range in the Pacific Ocean near Edwards Air Force Base, California…Read more at RTAnd.. I want to present the following very important report that came to my attention from a commentator to this site just the other day... This report comes from the International Business Times website, at www.ibtimes.co.uk, that shows that the F35 comes up short in air to air combat with the aging F16 Fighting Falcon that it is supposed to replace... This report shows again the damning evidence that this 'Lightning II' so called "fighter" would be blown out of the sky quickly if it ever saw combat against superior Russian and Chinese built fighters!  Here is that important article for everyone to read as well:F-35 Lightning stealth fighter comes up short in dogfight against ageing F-16 Fighting Falcon

The F-35 Lightning has cost about $1tn to develop but it cannot out-manoeuvre a 40-year-old F-16REUTERSOne is super modern stealthy jet fighter that has cost more than $1tn (£640bn) to develop. The other is a 40-year-old fighter bomber that is to be replaced by the stealthy jet. However, in a straight dogfight between the elderly F-16 and the stealthy F-35, it was the 40-year-old jet that came out on top.A report in IBTimes revealed that an F-35 Joint Strike Fighter was put through its paces off the coast of California in January and was found wanting. IBTimes, citing David Axe in the War is Boring blog, the F-35 can't turn, climb or evade gunfire faster than an F-16.According to Axe, the pilot of the F-35 wrote in the post-flight briefing: "The F-35 was at a distinct energy disadvantage."The evaluation focused on the overall effectiveness of the aircraft in performing various specific maneuvers in a dynamic environment," Axe claimed the pilot wrote. "This consisted of traditional Basic Fighter Maneuvers in offensive, defensive and neutral setups at altitudes ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 feet."In his five-page briefing, which Axe had seen, the F-35 pilot explained his plane was "flying without anything under its wings or in its internal weapons bays, which would weigh it down. The F-16 was flying with fuel drop-tanks beneath its wings, a stipulation that should have given the F-35 a distinct advantage". Apparently not. The F-16 out-guns and out-manoeuvres the F-35WikiCommonsThe F-35 pilot reported that there was "insufficient pitch rate" meaning the plane became too cumbersome to dodge enemy fire.Of particular concern was the custom-made helmet, which costs $500,000 a pop, which gives the pilot a 360-degree view outside the plane. The pilot said it was too cumbersome, so "the helmet was too large for the space inside the canopy to adequately see behind the aircraft."IBTimes reported that Pierre Sprey, who designed the F-16, told CBC last year the new F-35 is an "inherently terrible plane" that's heavy enough to become "astonishingly unmanoeuvrable...In dogfighting it's hopeless".The F-35 has been beset by problems, such as software delays, fuel tank redesigns and flight control issues, and as a result it is years behind schedule and billions over budget.NTS Notes:  Lets face the facts here... This Lightning II fighter is an unmitigated disaster for the US military, and the program should be scrapped immediately.... This "fighter" cannot maneuver, cannot dogfight, cannot fly in the rain, is hopelessly slow and underpowered, cannot carry enough ordinance for any combat role, does not even have a proper gun for air to air combat.....And on top of that, the so called "stealth" does not work because "stealth" itself is a FRAUD! I have pointed out in many previous articles how the big "selling" point of this so called piece of crap has been its "stealth" capabilities... But the public must be made aware that "stealth" is a sham and does NOT work... Modern and even primitive Russian and Chinese built radars can see any so called "stealth" aircraft and the proof lies in the fact that the so called "stealth" F117A aircraft used in the Kosovo/Serbian conflict of 1999 were all seen by crews manning Russian radar defenses and many were blown out of the sky.....The fact is that we have all been lied to about the fraud of "stealth" for years as it has been used as a selling point to jack up the price per unit for these aircraft.... Lougheed Martin and others have made a fortune in selling overpriced hunks of junk to the US government and other governments through the lie that their products are "invisible" to radar, when they are absolutely not.....To me, the biggest shock about this F35 piece of sh** fighter has been the outrageous price tag for the entire program.... An estimated $1.5 to $2 TRILLION dollars will be the final price tag for this program that will produce a fighter that simply does not work and will be suicide for any pilot to fly into combat....I need not remind people what even $1.5 TRILLION dollars could buy if not spent on this piece of crap... That money could pay for a fully financed US Health program for all of its citizens for several years and even have money left over to fix the crumbling US infrastructure to boot!   It simply boggles the mind how truly wasteful and ridiculous the US military spending has become....More to comeNTS
