It has now been confirmed that former Clinton campaign chair John Podesta met with PR smear firm, Fusion GPS, after the Trump Dossier was published. Remember that Podesta hd previously testified he did not know who paid for the dossier.

Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta met with the founder of the opposition research firm behind the Trump dossier just after the dirty document was published earlier this year, according to a new report in The New York Times.
The revelation is significant because Podesta, a longtime Democratic operative, recently told the Senate Intelligence Committee that he did not know who paid the research firm, Fusion GPS, to produce the dossier, which BuzzFeed published on Jan. 10.
An associate of Podesta’s told The Times that he met with Glenn Simpson, the founding partner of Fusion GPS, to compare notes about Russia’s meddling in the election.
Podesta’s associate told The Times that Simpson was considering whether his firm should continue its investigation of Trump’s alleged ties to Russia.

Clinton’s role is even more concerning after reports broke that Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya met with Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, before and after she met with Donald Trump Jr. at Trump Tower in June. As The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft previously reported, at least three of the people at the meeting with Donald Trump Jr. were Fusion GPS officials.
The news raises new questions about the motive behind the meeting between Veselnitskaya and Trump Jr. Was the sit down organized as a way to entrap Trump Jr. under the guise of discussing the Magnitsky Act? The House Intelligence Committee has reached a deal to obtain Fusion GPS’s bank records after the firm behind the ‘Trump dossier,’ moved to block access. Unfortunately, the bank records will be confidential under sealed protective order.
The banking records may reveal if money changed hands between Fusion GPS and Veselnitskaya, which would further thicken a plot that would make the late author Tom Clancy blush.
