In the report dated Thursday, October 3, 2019, titled: Syria Sitrep: Constitutional Talks,Turkey, Russia, Iran & Iraq Colour Revolution 3.0? the latest upheaval in Iraq was mentioned. Far from spontaneous this 'cry for freedom' has been years in the making. These latest protests have deep roots. We can, obviously, go back to '03 when the US destroyed Iraq to kick off their regional remake- the one that's been discussed here for years and years now. Rather then go back nearly two decades, I'll draw attention to a series of posts done in 2016- where it was pretty clear, in my opinion, we could see the preparations for this latest 'colour revolution'. The one I've labelled colour revolution 3.0. First, some facts from the article linked to in Thursday's post:-"They are mostly men in their early 20s" (good age for fighting and destabilizing)- "They rallied online around an Arabic hashtag of “I’m protesting for my rights.” (appeal to western sensibilities) - "On the streets, they carried Iraqi flags or wrapped themselves in them" (appear as loyalists) - " The pressure has been building since the battle against the Islamic State group was declared over in 2017 _ and even beforehand."(we'll get to the before hand soon enough)- "Mahdi " issue a statement in which he blamed “infiltrators” among the protesters for inciting the violence, and promising to address their concerns." (infiltrators among the protestors undoubtedly accurate)- "Protesters are calling for his government to resign" (typical)"Pressure building" before 2017 Reread a series of post done in 2016.
* Iraq's Maidan Spring? Part 1

* Pt 2 Iraq's Maidan Spring- Order out of Chaos/ Washington Must Decide!
1.The US and company need the cover of chaos to create the new order2.The illusion of a central government in a unified Iraq is no longer necessary3. Mosul
"Iraq’s legislature had three time refused to agree to reforms that would replace a corrupt cabinet with technocrats"
Technocrats just like Ukraine---- such a familiar themeItaly too.
"At issue now, is the very viability of Iraq"
"Public officials are starting to talk openly about a future state that is not bound by the same borders or political system"
* Pt. 3 Iraq’s Maidan Spring- Operation Annex Mosul is Well Under Way
* Taking Mosul "So far this is easier then Fallujah" What Comes After Will Be Worse, For Iraq.
With Mosul under control of US and Allies aka PKK the fracturing of Iraq could, and has begun in earnest.
