Introduction to Forgotten Christianity: History of Christian Theology (Part 1)

Welcome to David “therealMedWhite” Trebizond’s exciting new video series on the History of Christian Theology! This 9-part Video Series will be extensively covering the first 1000 years of Christian history from a theological standpoint, using Joseph P. Farrell’s masterpiece “God, History, and Dialectic” books, particularly Volume 1. This means we will be starting from Pentecost and end it at the Great Schism. Although “neutrality” is not something I can promise, since I myself am an Orthodox Christian, we will nevertheless be looking at various historical events and key persons with professionalism and detailed analysis.
In this video, we introduce the viewer to the forgotten aspects of Christianity that you cannot find in universities nor youtube videos made by protestant pastors/roman catholic priests, we will be starting with an attempt to orient our understanding of the Church Fathers, the first and second Europes (important to note that the term “Europe” here does not designate continental Europe, but something else) of the modern age and where they have culturally and theologically gone. The topics we cover in this video range from Dialectics to Original Sin. We talk about crucial yet unknown doctrines about the person of Christ in the context of His recapitulation, how Jesus acted throughout history (such as in the Old Testament), the triadic structure of reality, and many more!
