By Steve BarwickRe: Glenn Beck television program: Western Christian Nations are "Lost Tribes of Israel"http://www.glennbeck.com/2013/08/07/glenn-why-do-i-care-about-the-middle-east/A few people have forwarded me links to articles about Glenn Beck’s recent online broadcast, in which he publicly asserted that the western Christian nations are the “lost tribes of Israel” (you can see Beck’s comments on his website, at the link above).Glenn Beck is a Mormon and the Mormons basically believe the Israel-identity doctrine (with a few twists, i.e., the Lamanites and the Lehites, etc., which I won't go into here, but you can Google it if you feel the need to know more). So frankly, it's no surprise that Beck would come out and state that the people of the western Christian nations are descendants of the "lost tribes of Israel," and that this is why their nations are basically founded on the principles of the Bible. However, Beck made the egregious error of falling into what I call the “Gerald Flurry trap,” i.e., working on behalf of the tares by claiming that Germany is not part of the “lost tribes,” but instead, is part of "brutal Assyria," meaning of course, the very enemy of Israel. But those who understand the migrations of our people know that Germany is actually true Judah. And that indeed, the British monarchs -- the very descendants of King David -- are all of Germanic in lineage.*What’s more, Beck simultaneously claims that we (i.e., the western Christian nations) "owe our allegiance to the people of Jerusalem," meaning, to the antichrist tares. Beck makes true Judah (i.e., Germany) out to be the enemy of God's People, rather than the scepter tribe from which the members of the royal family of Britain have all descended. And he casually hands Judah’s Biblical inheritance over to the antichrist tares of Jerusalem. I quote from Beck: "Assyria at the time was the most feared nation on earth. Their name was synonymous with atrocity. They skinned prisoners alive. They cut off body parts. They pulled out tongues and eyes. They put piles of skulls on display so everyone knew, don’t screw with us...What’s interesting is the Assyrians who were very good, meticulous record keepers, and who were just brutal, they settled in Italy and in the Germany area and the Russian area where Fascism comes from…The people of Jerusalem, we owe our existence in many ways. We owe our laws to them.” (End quote)But the reality is, we owe our laws to God, and to God alone. It is He who preserved those laws, through Christ. The people of Jerusalem -- so thoroughly infused with the Talmudic doctrine of the tares, which is to say, the blasphemous antichrist doctrine of the false Jews of Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 -- rejected God’s law in favor of the vain traditions of the elders. Indeed, they rejected God’s anointed Savior, Jesus Christ -- the Living Word of God -- Who had worked so hard to correct their errant beliefs during the course of His short ministry on this earth. And to this day the people of Jerusalem still reject Christ. Vehemently.Yet Beck credits the Christ-killers with “keeping God’s Word alive.” In other words, those who killed the Living Word of God are credited by Beck with keeping the Word of God alive. Think about that.In short, Beck labels the Germans (along with the Italians and Russians) as being "brutal Assyria." And he labels the antichrist tares of Jerusalem as “God’s chosen” who have preserved God’s Word so that we in the western Christians nations could base our very laws upon it. This is essentially doctrine straight from Gerald Flurry and the so-called "Key of David" people, who put out all of those slick, glossy magazines (and religious TV programming) that constantly denigrates Germany as "Assyria" and labels the German people as our sworn enemy, rather than our elder brother, Judah; erroneously and unscripturally warning that Germany will swoop down and "attack us from the north" one day.I have no idea if that’s where Beck got his ideas about Germany. I’m just saying Beck’s diatribe closely parallels this false doctrine. But it doesn’t matter. The point is, Beck is playing right into the hands of the antichrist tares by anointing them as “God’s chosen,” and by labeling Germany as “Assyria.”Of course, we've seen Beck's true colors not too long back, when he did his "Stand With Israel" road show. He gathered the chief rabbis around himself in Jerusalem, constantly referring to them as "God's chosen." So if he labels the outspoken enemies of Christ as "God's chosen," then it's also no surprise he would label Germany as "Assyria" instead of revealing her true, albeit little-understood heritage as the people of the tribe of Judah. I find it quite interesting that, apparently, the tares who Mr. Beck so enthusiastically embraces don't mind his "Israel/lost tribes" shtick, as long as he doesn't try to wrest away from them the heritage of Judah (which they've stolen from Germany, through propaganda, deception and conquest), and restore it to its rightful owners. If Beck told the truth about Germany as true Judah, he'd never see the light of day again as a newsman, journalist or "celebrity".So for me, Beck’s recent online broadcast revealing that the western Christian nations are the “lost tribes of Israel” doesn’t enhance his credibility at all, but instead puts him squarely in bed with those working to make sure the heritage of Judah remains solidly in the hands of the antichrist tares, and is never restored to its rightful owners. What really cracks me up is that Beck characterizes the Germanic peoples as "brutal Assyria," but doesn't mention that most of the British royal family are actually of Germanic lineage. Could you imagine the blowback he'd receive from characterizing Princess Kate and Prince William, for example, as descendants of those who "skinned prisoners alive...cut off body parts...pulled out tongues and eyes...and put piles of skulls on display", and as being the very enemies of God's People, the lost tribes of Israel?This demonstrates the Beck double-mind in action. Yes, he claims the western Christian nations (leaving out Germany, of course) are the "lost tribes of Israel." Which, of course, we are. But he also claims we "owe everything to the inhabitants of Jerusalem." Again, think about that. According to Beck, we owe our entire Christian heritage to those who openly hate, loathe and despise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Does that make any sense at all to you? How could it possibly make any sense to Beck? The spirit of iniquity is hard at work in the final days of this flesh earth age, and the goal is to "if possible, deceive even the very elect."So don't let it be possible. Know your Father's Word. And know your heritage. And don't let some has-been yahoo like Beck, bowing and scraping for scraps of fame at the foot of the Christ-haters, steal it away from you.
