Fresno Chief of Police stormed out of city hall when decisions were made to end funding to #BewareSoftware till representatives and community members come to a more conclusive understanding of what the mass data collection software includes. Some of the deciding factors included major accountability from local activist groups including #FaithInCommunity

Also Clint Olivier Seventh District City Council Member experienced first hand the highly dangerous aspect of the Beware program. In a public workshop highlighting features of the software his information was searched and while the color coding threat assessments were still in effect his address came up as yellow which is seen as elevated threat levels. The reason being, a man whom used to live in his home was a convicted felon the past resident criminal history was related back to the Council Member whom had no past or current relation yet still profiled as a danger to his community.
Beware seems to be put on the back-burner until future notice. Thats all for now
