Baiji Refinery in Peril, 106 Killed across Iraq

Troops at the refinery in Baiji are begging for help. The refinery is again surrounded by Islamic State militants, and the men stationed there are running out of supplies. Some reinforcements did arrive on Monday. The refinery is of strategic importance to the militants and fighting has been intense there, on and off, for several months.
