Attack On Istanbul: Ataturk Airport- The Death Toll Climbs: Updated

Came across this from Daily Caller- Daily Caller got the video footage from the twitter feed from someone named Gilgo

The video, which began circulating on Twitter and elsewhere shortly after the attack, shows people running away from a man who appears to be running through the airport with a gun. Suddenly, the man drops to the ground, apparently after being shot, and drops his gun, which slides beyond his reachGilgo is of course a self proclaimed Kurdish activist

Warning: It's gruesome  As USA Today reports:Turkey is vulnerable to growing terror attacks

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack at the airport, but Turkey has been a target of both Islamic State terrorists and Kurdish separatists during the past year.

Turkey has been targeted by a NATO for destabilization. Call them Kurds or ISIS or my personal favourite KurdIShIS- Makes no difference- Recall? :Turkey's Destabilization- Kickin' It Up a Notch? Or Two,Three, Ten Notches??

The Kurdistan Freedom Hawks (TAK), an offshoot of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militant group, said Friday it carried out a suicide bombing in Turkey's biggest city Istanbul this week that killed 11 people.A car bomb ripped through a police bus in central Istanbul during the morning rush hour on Tuesday near the main tourist district, a major university and the mayor's office.TAK also warned in a statement that although it was not deliberately targeting foreigners, Turkey was no longer safe for tourists.Turkey is the world's sixth-biggest tourist destination but has seen a sharp drop off following a spate of bombings that have killed hundreds of people in the last 12 months -TAK comes right out and says, yah we did it! And we're going to keep on doing it !Killing civilians. Terrorizing a nation. Destroying it’s tourist industry. Destroying it’s history.

Kurds/ISIS makes no difference to me- TAK made it clear they were going to continue targeting Turkey even destroying their tourism industry "Turkey no longer safe for tourists"Attacking an airport would surely drive that message home!Last night after posting I also left a comment: If this attack was perpetrated by ISIS then it's entirely possible the destabilization campaign currently employed against Turkey is going to get worse. This morning's news reports indicated ISIS is the prime suspect

Turkish investigators pored over video footage and witness statements on Wednesday after three suspected Islamic State suicide bombers opened fire and blew themselves up in Istanbul's main airport, killing 41 people and wounding 239.The attack on Europe's third-busiest airport was the deadliest in a series of suicide bombings this year in Turkey

One attacker opened fire in the departures hall with an automatic rifle, sending passengers diving for cover and trying to flee, before all three blew themselves up in or around the arrivals hall a floor below, witnesses and officials said.Video footage showed one of the attackers inside the terminal building being shot, apparently by a police officer, before falling to the ground as people scattered. The attacker then blew himself up around 20 seconds later."It's a jigsaw puzzle ... The authorities are going through CCTV footage, witness statements," a Turkish official said.

Yildrim provides the information regarding ISIS

"This attack, targeting innocent people is a vile, planned terrorist act," Prime Minister Binali Yildirim told reporters at the scene in the early hours of Wednesday morning."There is initial evidence that each of the three suicide bombers blew themselves up after opening fire," he said. The attackers had come to the airport by taxi and preliminary findings pointed to Islamic State responsibility"

No fly zone anybody?
