The 2016 election season has been revealing in all sorts of meaningful ways. We’ve seen countless mainstream Republicans, particularly neocons, come out and passionately endorse Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump. More interesting than the fact they did this, was that they actually thought this would damage Trump. In contrast, it has helped him more than they could have ever imagined.
Indeed, as I noted in last week’s post, The Status Quo vs. Donald Trump:
The mainstream U.S. media disparaged Russia’s parliamentary elections which showed scant support for the West’s favored “liberals” who side with the U.S. pressure on Moscow, but their defeat should come as no surprise, says Gilbert Doctorow. By Gilbert Doctorow Last week, I…Read more →

DC Leaks has just revealed its latest email hack of White House staffer Ian Mellul.
After untold billions of dollars in US training and equipment, the Iraqi army is not capable of taking the city of Mosul back from ISIS control. Part of the problem is that the multi-sectarian Iraqi army is not so keen on fighting an ISIS that includes Sunni elements of the old Iraqi army among other things. What does that mean? The Pentagon has told the White House it needs even more troops as “advisors” in advance of the expected battle. Already more than 6,000 US troops remain in Iraq. This new infusion will make at least 6,500 and that many contractors as well.
It is long past time for us to abandon fossil fuel projects that harm Native communities and threaten the future of our planet.

We explore the role that the Secret Service plays in deep-state events such as JFK, and the Reagan shooting. Ed discusses his PI work which has focused on Secret Service malfeasance. We also discuss a what if scenario, in which Hillary is incapacitated in office and Bill steps in.

Now if we can just stop them from blowing stuff up all the time, this thing is in the bag.
Social Media Uber Alles
Despite the reality that propaganda in wartime is as old as dirt, America collectively is freaking out because a lot of ISIS’ takes place on social media. The elderly and feeble who run our government do not understand The Online gizmos and thus are terrified of them and declare they must be turned off with a big switch somewhere.

According to recent reports, more people die from air pollution than malaria and HIV/AIDS. The statistics show that 3 million people die prematurely each year from the toxic air, and the number could double by 2050 if no efforts are made to stabilize it. In the realm of good news on this issue, scientists have now created an inhaler that could help protect your lungs from the deadliest effects of air pollution. [1]

Aid has reached some displaced Syrians near the capital Damascus but all convoys to the besieged Aleppo have been suspended [Xinhua]
Russia and the US took swipes at each other late Wednesday as an United Nations Security Council meeting on Syria – and the recent attack on an aid convoy – broke down into a Cold War era blame game.
2 women in CongressThere are 435 members of Congress serving in the House and 100 Senators. In theory, there should be 218 women in the House and 50 women in the Senate. Right now there are 20 women in the Senate, an all-time high, and 84 women in the House. There are 84 women in the House, not 218, 62 of them Democrats and 22 of them Republicans. Slowly, slowly, slowly equality is coming to Congress.

Medical marijuana is legal in about half of the United States, and the DEA missed its chance to legalize it on the national level when it passed on rescheduling marijuana this past summer. But in Canada, doctors have been given the green light to prescribe heroin to severely addicted patients.
Are we living in a parallel universe or something?
We may have more in common with our ancestors than we think. Archaeologists in Denmark have recently uncovered a 3,000-year-old cooking skillet with burned cheese encrusted at the bottom of it. Whoever committed this kitchen nightmare didn’t think his or her lack of cooking talent would be preserved for the ages. [1]
By Margaret Kimberley | Black Agenda Report | September 21, 2016 Putin Derangement Syndrome is the imperialist gift that keeps on giving. It has been over a year since that tragic photograph […]
