BREAKING: Major Earthquake strikes between Honduras and Cuba

A powerful magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck the Yucatan Basin, near the Gulf of Honduras at 9:52pm Eastern Standard Time (02.52 UTC). The quake depth was estimated to be 6.2 miles (10km).  Since this was a sea-based quake, there were a series of tsumami advisories posted for various places around the epicenter of the quake.  However, many of these advisories have since been canceled.
This was the most powerful earthquake ever recorded in this region of the world.

FDA: Invokana Diabetes Drug Increases Risk of Foot and Leg Amputations

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirms the popular Johnson & Johnson (J&J) diabetes drug Invokana (Invokamet, Invokamet XR) increases the risk of foot and leg amputations in people with Type 2 diabetes. [1]
The results of 2 clinical trials showed leg and foot amputations occurred about twice as often in patients taking Invokana (generic name: canagliflozin) as those given a placebo, according to an announcement on the FDA’s website. [2]

Here’s Why Labels are Going on Marijuana Edibles in Colorado

As of October 1, edible marijuana products sold in Colorado must be labeled with a diamond-shaped stamp and the letters THC, both on the packaging and on the products themselves. [1]
