Baltimore Cops Kept Toy Guns to Plant on Their Shooting Victims

In April 2016, a 13-year-old boy was shot by officers of the Baltimore Police Department. The boy ran when faced with the police, so they gave chase. During the chase, the police spotted the boy holding a gun, and when he turned, they shot the teenager. The youngster wasn’t critically injured, and it seemed like an open-and-shut case of a justifiable use of force.

Update: Baltimore’s Police Commissioner has officially requested the FBI to take over the investigation of the death of 18-year veteran Sean Suiter. Suiter was killed two weeks ago one day before he was scheduled to testify in front of a federal grand jury investigating racketeering charges against eight Baltimore police officers. Suiter was not a target of the grand jury nor was he suspected of any illegal activity.

This time, the Baltimore Public Defender’s office has a second video that allegedly “appears to depict multiple officers working together to manufacture evidence.”
