Sarah Ferris and Heather Caygle, reporting for Politico yesterday, wrote about how congressional Democrats-- most far to the right of Bernie-- are planning how to run with him at the top of the ticket.

Two ass-sucking Blue Dogs, Collin Peterson (MN) and Jeff Van Drew (NJ)-- who is expected to quit the Democratic Party and join the GOP-- have already announced they're voting against impeaching Trump. Next week we'll find how many fellow Blue Dogs they're dragging along with them.

Earlier today, we noted Ro Khanna's leadership in regard to the excesses of Trump's Pentagon Budget, basically Trump ripping up Eisenhower's Military Industrial Complex speech and using if for toilet paper and then flushing it 15 times.

I was on the phone a few minutes ago, talking with a super-progressive running for a congressional seat in central Texas and she brought up Lloyd Doggett, chair of the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, and more progressive than anyone else in the Texas congressional delegation.

But he's probably best known, outside of billionaire real estate circles, for having thrown a 49th birthday party for Obama where the minimum price for admission was $30,000 (checks made out to the DNC). He's shoveled immense amounts of money into the political careers of neo-liberals and crooked pols like Rahm Emanuel, Hillary Clinton, Rod Blagojevich, the Madigans, Melissa Bean, etc. He writes big checks too.
