Florida Man Fights Extensive Public Records Request Abuse

The City of Homestead has a torrid reputation and a pattern of willfully refusing to comply with the public records law. Homestead is a little town at the southern end of Miami-Dade County, rarely receiving the scrutiny it deserves as a cesspool of public corruption and maleficence.
I have used the records request process, as a pre-discovery method for investigating my civil rights claims. Homestead has failed to comply with the public records law on the majority of the nearly one hundred requests I have filed.

Stalking Away The First Amendment: Part 1

 
Homestead Police Department (HPD) has silenced the First Amendment with false stalking charges and restraining orders.
Their abuses leading to two of my three false arrest, and to me being served with four frivolous restraining orders.
Sadly, such abuses are not limited to Florida, and occur nationwide.
I have researched this new trick in the police playbook being used to stalk away the First Amendment.
PINAC presents this series as a case study on such stalking abuses in Florida and across the country.

UPDATE: Wednesday, August 24, 2016, 10:50 p.m.
PINAC reporter Eric McDonough was arrested Wednesday after entering the city council meeting, then being ordered to leave. He was live streaming that part, but they arrested after he had stepped into the parking lot when he had turned his camera off. It appears they are charging him with disorderly conduct, which is a contempt-of-cop charge. He is currently in jail and should be released Thursday.

Missouri Marshal Indicted on 15 Counts With Wife, Re-Elected to Top Cop Job

A small town Missouri Marshal got re-elected top cop in the town of Dixon, Missouri, even though he’s indicted on 15 charges, along with his wife, another indicted former city of Dixon employee.

He’s Michael Plummer, the current ex-City Marshal of Dixon, Missouri.
Who lost the job last year, when he lost his peace officer’s license last year already.
After being accused of selling police lights, amongst other felony charges.

Bald Knob Police Chief Cuts Federal Gun Felony Plea Deal, Not Charged With Arson for Torching Own Truck

“Brand New, I will take $800 for it.”
Fateful words that led Bald Knob Police Chief Erek Balantine to cut felony plea deal with prosecutors.
The Arkansas police chief burned his own personal vehicle, writing “2 Amendment” in spray paint to try and deflect attention from stealing a shiny new shotgun donated to the police department for auction.
The sentencing hearing is pending.
Former Bald Knob Police Chief Erek Balantine resigned in “fear for his family’s safety,” his last day was October 5th, 2015.

Louisiana Cops Arrest TV Reporter For Questioning Mayor’s Salary and Benefits

“This is what White Castle residents have to deal with.”
Chris Nakamoto is a true professional journalist, giving a deadpanned story lede to his videographer as he was being perp-walked by a burly cop for uncovering small town government corruption.
He’d just uncovered an un-legislated pay raise costing each resident in small town White Castle, Lousiana – each man, woman and child – stuck paying an additional $11 per year in tribute to the elected offical.

New Jersey Crime Lab Tech Suspended For Falsifying Test Results, Blows 7,800+ Cases

A New Jersey Crime Lab technician was suspended with pay, after he was found writing down results of suspected marijuana, before the tests were even completed, throwing 7,827 criminal cases into doubt, damaging confidence in the workings of that state’s criminal justice system.
Criminal charges have yet to be filed against Kamalkant Shah, but falsifying even a single test would be grounds for indictment.
