Biden had some more terrible news at dawn yesterday, or whenever he woke up. His numbers in California have collapsed. California, the state with 494 delegates. The only states with hauls anywhere near California are New York (320), Texas (261), Florida (248), Pennsylvania (210) and Illinois (184).

The Union Leader isn't just a Republican Party mouthpiece, it's one of the most notoriously conservative daily newspapers in the country.
Christopher Ingraham wrote up a Gallup polling report for the Washington Post that shows "the Trump era has ushered in the largest happiness gap between white and nonwhite Americans in nearly two decades. More than 90 percent of white Americans," wrote Ingraham, "say they are 'very' or 'fairly' happy these days, a number that has held steady since the early 2000s.
Today Ann Kuster appeared at a Mayo Pete rally in Concord, New Hampshire, having just endorsed him the day before. Kuster herself has been an especially bitter disappointment for progressives since she first took her seat in Congress in 2013, quickly joining the Wall Street-owned and operated New Dems and abandoning all the progressive rhetoric she had used to defeat Republican Charlie Bass.
I had a strong feeling that it would just be a matter time before Mayo Pete’s balloon would be burst and his inch deep support would start to evaporate. I assumed it would be during the Iowa caucuses next month. But, according to a new HarrisX poll, the process has already begun.

The idea of Mayo Pete winning the caucuses is patently absurd, even if the RealClearPolitics polling average-- based on polls that are all over the map and far from showing any kind of consensus-- show him ahead:
Here in California, we don't usually get inundated with campaign ads, at least not the way Iowa and New Hampshire-- and more recently, Nevada and South Carolina, do. California has always been too late in the campaign season. And California is, by far, the country's most expensive media market. But that all changed. California is a SuperTuesday state now and early voting will already be in full swing by the time tiny Iowa caucuses.
Late yesterday you may have seen the new Boston Globe poll of New Hampshire Democratic primary voters by Suffolk. Bernie led the pack, followed by Elizabeth Warren, Mayo Pete... and Status Quo Joe bringing up the rear.
I wonder how many people will tune into today's Democratic primary debate to see what kind of gaffes-- and lies-- come out of Biden's mouth... and whether his facelift droops or a part part falls off him. Yesterday, as people were getting ready, the Franklin Pierce-Boston Herald poll came out with some especially bad new for old Status Quo Joe.
