In an interview with Politico, Michael Morell, the acting director of the CIA from 2012-2013, said he became political during the last presidential race, endorsed Hillary Clinton, and criticized the new President. Morell admitted that the CIA was withholding daily briefs from Trump, which he was supposed to receive from the moment he became the president-elect. [...]

Though the leaders of the US security services have denied the President’s allegation that they wire-tapped him – though they were careful not to deny that they mounted surveillance on him and his associates – the President’s claim that they did, in effect smoked them out.
The ‘Russiagate’ scandal received another body blow today when Hillary Clinton’s own pick for CIA Director admitted there was no evidence behind it.
