Britain’s Defence Secretary Michael Fallon has made an extraordinary claim that Saudi Arabia’s military actions in Yemen which are widely regarded to be war crimes, are acts of self defence.
The claim came as Fallon was questioned about the role of Britain in supplying heavy arms to the Saudi regime.

Perhaps it is because Russia is a successful democracy with four major parties in the Duma representing various parties of left-right and centre that President Putin’s opinion on elections throughout the world is sought.
However, since Vladimir Putin does not want to meddle in the democracy of other states, he doesn’t formally endorse candidates in foreign countries, but that doesn’t matter, the foreign countries assign Putin an opinion anyway.

UK Defense Minister Michael Fallon has announced a big military build up in Estonia, including over 100 pieces of artillery, tanks and infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), according to a report by Southfront.
Fallon himself claimed that the build up is “one of the biggest military deployments in Eastern Europe since the cold war.” The UK defense ministry called the exercise, “one of the largest ever NATO deployments.”
Russia’s steadfast and rock-solid defense minister, Sergei Shoigu, made a devastating retort to a question from the audience at an event held at Moscow’s MGIMO University on February 21st.
The audience member asked Shoigu for a response to the snide and provocative (but sadly typical) comment of UK defense minister Micheal Fallon at the Munich Security Conference, who said that “we would prefer it if the Russian bear didn’t stick its paws in [Libya].”

British Defense Secretary Sir Michael Fallon today announced, and Saudi Arabia formally confirmed, that the Saudi military has been dropping British-made cluster munitions on Yemen over the course of their 20 month war in Yemen.
