Barr, Pompeo, Trumpanzee and PenceUPDATE: With 100% of parishes reporting, Governor John Bel Edwards (D) was reelected in red, red Louisiana, despite-- or more likely because of-- a barrage of Trump's carrying on and tons and tons of Republican sewer money:

Louisiana's gubernatorial runoff is this coming Saturday, Nov. 16. It pits current governor, John Bel Edwards, a conservative Democrat, against a corrupt  Trumpist businessman, Eddie Rispone, who beat Rep. Ralph Abraham in the October 12 primary. Rispone beat Abraham by writing himself a $12 million check. Jungle primary results:

"We Met The Enemy And They Are Us" by Nancy OhanianKentucky's PVI is R+15. Louisiana's is R+11. In 2016, Trump won Kentucky 1,202,971 (62.52%) to 628,854 (32.68%). Louisiana was also a strong Trump state, but not nearly as strong as Kentucky. Trump won 1,178,638 (58.09%) to 780,154 (38.45%).

Ralph Abraham is the ultimate politician scumbag. An anti-immigrant fanatic, his grandparents immigration to the U.S. from Lebanon. He studied to be a veterinarian, although he claims to be a people doctor now. He's also a Republican gubernatorial candidate who started serving in Congress in 2015, representing the very red (R+15) 5th district-- where Trump beat Hillary 63.5% to 34.1%.

I don’t think their mother breast-fed them.
