First, we covered the recent terrorist attack on President Maduro’s life on August 4th. We touched on the right-wing media operations out of Miami, which supported this terrorist act, as well as the role of ultra right-wing activists in Venezuela and Colombia.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro says he has survived an assassination attempt involving explosive drones during a military event in Caracas.
Live footage of his speech shows the president suddenly looking upwards in terror as dozens of soldiers break formation and scatter.
Maduro has blamed Colombia for the attack and elements within the US of instigating “a right-wing plot” to kill him.
Maduro added that he had “no doubt” Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos was “behind this attack”.

On May 16 of this year, in the rural Colombian town of Jardines de Sucumbíos (In the department of Narino), farmer Leonardo Obando offered the first floor of his home to four guests who had spent the day preparing for the town’s mother’s day festivities. CIA secret program helped Colombia kill FARC leaders: Report

US intelligence agencies have secretly helped the Colombian government kill at least two dozen leaders of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), a report says.
On Saturday, the Washington Post published the report revealing that both the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA) provided the Colombian government with technology to terminate the rebel leaders.
