The "Freedom Caucus" is screaming its collective head off about growing deficits again, threatening to Boehnerize GOP Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and threatening to kill the budget deal agreed to by Trump, Pelosi, McConnell, Schumer and McCarthy.

Thanks to Chuck Schumer's always screwed-up recruiting agenda, she's now the worst Democrat in the Senate. Actually her crucial vote score (38.46%) is tied with Jo Manchin, so... to be fair, she's tied for worst.

Yesterday, House Democrats demanded an instant vote on the DREAM Act. Ryan laughed at them-- and laughed at every Latino in America. He said NO. Why? Well... Ryan's in a pickle (en un aprieto).

Just over a week after the Republicans’ embarrassing failure to repeal Obamacare as a result of infighting with both conservative and moderate factions, on Monday White House officials led by the vice president met the same opposing Republicans in the House of Representatives, in an aggressive effort to revive the passage of the Republican Obamacare deal, potentially voting as soon as the end of the this week.

The GOP is now like a college cafeteria food fight-- a free-for-all. Polling released yesterday shows Trump's ratings continuing to plummet and now shows that Paul Ryan is the single most unpopular politician in America-- even more disliked than Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi and... Señor Trumpanzee.

Congressional Republicans have supposedly been afraid of Trump attacking them in tweets for months. And this week, he went for it. He called out the Freedom Caucus and tweeted "we must fight them" and tweeted twice specifically against Tea Party leaders Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan and Raul Labrador.

(ANTIMEDIA) President Donald Trump continues to use Twitter to vent his frustrations, and on Thursday, he used the social media platform to attack members of his own party.

Whip counts change. The most worthless ones-- aside from Steve Scalise's-- come from the clueless Beltway media clods. I laughed when I saw Lou Barletta (R-PA) start turning up on lists of NO votes. There's no one in the House more easily bought-off by a thug like Trump than Barletta.

The other day we mentioned that a SuperPAC controlled by Paul Ryan is running threatening negative TV ads against 30 Republican incumbents. The one above has been on TV all weekend in Grand Rapids, it's suburbs to the north and east and in Battle Creek in central Michigan. The implied threat is that Ryan will destroy independent-minded libertarian Justin Amash's career the same way he destroyed the careers of Republican incumbents Tim Huelskamp (KS) and Scott Garrett (NJ).
