Dr. Marwa Osman On Recent Developments in Occupied Palestine

Following our mid-February conversation, I spoke again with Lebanese journalist and political commentator, Dr. Marwa Osman, about recent developments in occupied Palestine. Talking Reality Theories, With Airika Dollner, the Amazing Creative Mind of Art With Aim

Some months ago, while chatting about world events, media lies, and how people who dare to think critically are often dismissed as “conspiracy theorists”, we joked about being “reality theorists”, and I liked the sound of that term. Addressing The Rebel’s Distorted and Lying Report on The Toronto (2018) Al Quds Day Protest

On Al Quds Day in Toronto, Canadians from many faiths and backgrounds came out in solidarity with Palestinians who have been and continue to be brutally oppressed by Israel. Notably, in recent months elite Israeli army snipers have gunned down unarmed Palestinian protesters, including medics, photographers, children.
Corporate media describes these as ‘clashes’ and thrusts blame on Palestinians, who are protesting for their basic human rights.

Israeli violence against Palestinians will never end as a result of UN & US hypocrisy

*internet photo of huge amounts of suffocating tear gas on Gaza protest. More sordidly, photos abound of maimed and slaughtered unarmed Palestinian protesters.

The US is fine with “rebels” like Al-Qaeda “protesting” in Syria, but when genuinely unarmed Palestinians protest the occupiers who violently expelled them from their homes and land, they are “inciting violence.”
