North Miami Police Meant to Kill Autistic Man Instead of Injuring Caretaker (Updated)

It took less than 24 hours for a police union president to spin the story of how a North Miami police officer shot a man with his hands in the air.
The cop was actually trying to kill the autistic man holding the toy truck in order to prevent him from killing his caretaker with the toy truck.
At the time, the cop was still under the impression that the toy truck was a gun, so he wasn’t taking any chances.

“Stay with me,” said Lavish Reynolds onto Facebook Live video, “We got pulled over for a busted tail light in the back. And the police… they just killed my boyfriend”
Her four year old daughter was in the car too.
A Minnesota police officer appeared at the window moments later.

But the Hayward Police Department, which regular sends out media updates about homicides and missing persons – never publicly acknowledged the death of James Greer.
And the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office never opened an investigation into the death of the 46-year-old man.

Virginia Cops Handcuff Man Legally Open Carrying, Overlook Gun in Waistband

You may remember Roy Leeshum Williams as the man who sat in his car last year, eating oatmeal, while a cop banged on his window, demanding to see his identification.
The Virginia man even went as far as telling the cop he was armed with “dozens” of weapons while still refusing to provide his identification, arguing that the Richmond police officer did not have a reasonable suspicion he had committed a crime.
He ignored the cop, he challenged the cop and he mocked the cop, and he still managed to avoid detainment without having to show his identification.

Arizona Cop Recalls “Terrifying” Experience as He Shot and Killed Unarmed Daniel Shaver as New Crime Scene Photos Surface and Body Cam Video Expected to be Released Today

Arizona police officer Philip “Mitch” Brailsford, a bespectacled Ramboesque nerd of a cop, was one of six Mesa police officers who had their guns drawn on Daniel Shaver after they ordered him out of his hotel room last January.
Show us your hands, they first shouted. Place your hands behind your head, they then ordered. Place your hands on the floor and come crawling to use, they then commanded.
Shaver, a 26-year-old man who only moments earlier was showing his pellet gun to a couple of new acquaintances he had met in the hotel, began crawling towards the cops.

Illinois cops pulled a car over for speeding, then dragged a man out of the back seat because he would not stop recording.
Dolton police then forced Steven S. Sinnot facedown on the street and handcuffed him, telling him, he should “learn how to listen.”
“I just had my hands where he could see them,” Sinnott says as he was being dragged out as you can see in the video below.
“I didn’t move or nothing. I don’t consent to no search,” he continues.
“Shut the fuck up!” said the cop named Doiley who dragged him out.

New Jersey Cops Arrest Woman for Remaining Silent Before Reading Her Rights

New Jersey state police arrested a woman for exercising her Constitutional right to remain silent.
Or as they called it; “obstruction.”
But they were sure to inform Rebecca Musarra that she had the right to remain silent – once she was handcuffed and placed in the back of the patrol car.
She was then transported to a local police department, but released two hours later with no charges against her after a supervisor reviewed the footage and chalked it up to a rookie mistake.
The two arresting officer, Matthew Stazzone and Demetric Gosa, were hired in 2014.

Pennsylvania Man Arrested on Felony for Recording Cop Files Lawsuit

As far as police videos go, it was pretty uneventful; a vertical video showing a Pennsylvania police officer trying to resolve a neighborhood parking dispute between a resident and a school teacher who worked nearby.
Nobody was arrested. Nobody was beaten. Nobody was tasered or pepper sprayed. And nobody was shot and killed, which meant that nobody really cared. 

Virginia Police Officers Delete Footage from Woman who Recorded them Beating Man

In disturbing video out of Virginia, Portsmouth police officers threatened to evict residents who had gathered around to watch and record them making an arrest of a man they had apparently beaten with batons.
But that’s only the video that survived.
The woman who recorded the video said that police deleted another video that had recorded the beating.
