Philando Castile’s crime was being born a black man in an age where bigotry and racism should be a thing of the past and yet it oozes and seeps out from the cracks and the holes in the façade, that is used to disguise it under the guise of Law and Order.

Their abuses leading to two of my three false arrest, and to me being served with four frivolous restraining orders.
Sadly, such abuses are not limited to Florida, and occur nationwide.

Baltimore Circuit Judge Barry Williams announced that Baltimore city police officer Caesar Goodson is not guilty for killing Freddie Gray.
Gray’s last moments were recorded in a dramatic video showing him alive and well by neighbor Kevin Moore at the Gilmour Homes in western Baltimore.
Officer Goodson was the driver of the van, accused of giving a rough ride to Gray leaving him paralyzed and on life support.

A Fort Lauderdale police officer who slapped a homeless man who had been sleeping on a bench at a bus terminal in downtown Fort Lauderdale was acquitted Wednesday by a jury of the charges despite the assault being recorded by a bystander.
Victor Ramirez, 25, was facing three misdemeanor charges, including two counts of battery and one count of falsifying records.
During the trial, he testified that he was trying to protect his gun from getting into the hands of homeless man, Bruce Laclair, and that Laclair was not complying with his orders to leave the bus terminal.

A Maryland man convicted by a judge last year on questionable charges after a sheriff’s deputy accused his girlfriend of breastfeeding their unrestrained baby in the passengers’s seat as he pulled into a gas station had the conviction reversed on appeal last month after taking the case before a jury.
But the Charles County Sheriff’s Office is still refusing to return his girlfriend’s phone that recorded the incident.

Two Montana deputies said they were in fear for their lives when they opened fire on a stolen SUV, killing the man inside.
However, a dash cam video shows the SUV veered left as if to avoid striking them.
It also shows the two Yellowstone County sheriff’s deputies walking towards the approaching vehicle with their rifles drawn, opening fire as the vehicle veered left and continuing to fire after the SUV was nowhere in their path.
“I told him to stop, he hit the gas and came right at us,” one deputy can be heard telling a supervisor who later arrived on the scene.

The assault was caught on camera, a Pittsburgh cop shoving a teen down to the ground twice, then punching him a few times before handcuffing him, which led to criminal charges against Sergeant Stephen Matakovich last year.
All because the 19-year-old man would not leave the outside of Heinz Field where a high school championship football game was being played on November 28.
Well, actually, Gabriel Despres did try to leave after being ordered to do so by a group of security guards.

A Los Angeles police officer was found not guilty for repeatedly bashing a man over the head with his baton while trying to arrest him.
Jonathan Lai was acquitted Monday of one felony count of assault by a police officer and another felony count of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles Times.
“The jurors had to agree that my client was objectively reasonable,” said defense attorney Ira Salzman.

A former NFL star, who then became a deputy for Osceola County in Orlando, Florida was acquitted on Saturday by a federal jury on charges of stealing people’s identities and over $500,000 in false income tax returns.
Titus Dixon, 49, who was a wide receiver for both the National Football League and Canadian Football League, was cleared by a jury in Tallahassee over the weekend.
He had been a deputy in Osceola County for nine years and was fired in 2014 when he was indicted.

After 16 hours of deliberation, a jury acquitted a Delaware cop on Tuesday for kicking a suspect full force in the head, causing his jaw to shatter.
Dover police officer Thomas Webster IV was acquitted of felony assault and misdemeanor assault charges after deliberations spanned three days.
