On May 11, 2020, Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League (BREDL) filed a
petition to intervene before the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and
request a hearing to present opposition to the granting of licensure to
Souther Nuclear Operating Company (SNC).
