The impeachment circus came to an abrupt end this week as the US Senate voted to acquit President Trump of charges, drawing a line under a 4 year-long partisan RussiaGate hoax. The Democrats’ woes did not end there this week, as the Iowa Caucus Primary contest descended into chaos after the party’s dodgy digital election app failed to record votes, opening a back door for centerist, Pete Buttigieg, to come from behind and challenge front-runner Bernie Sanders. Also, it turns out that the US had the wrong intelligence over the December 27th rocket attack on an Iraqi base which started the chain of events which nearly brought Washington and Iran to war, and where Iraqis demanded US troops to leave their country.
