Never Forget: The Towering Exposure of Hillary Clinton by Assange and WikiLeaks

‘Lock him up’ forever. That’s what Hilary wants for Julian Assange, and it’s easy to see why, after listening to his interview with stunning John Pilger from November 7, 2016.

The interview was undertaken before the outcome of the US Presidential election and before the DNC funded Steele dossier was handed to John McCain. At that stage, her claims of Russian meddling and the Russiagate meme, rested on the issue of the leaked DNC emails.
Key issues from email disclosures are: ‘Pay for play’ to Clinton Foundation resulting in arms deals with Saudi Arabia and Qatar whose governments funded ISIS, Hilary’s Libya “Tick-Tock” schedule for regime change in Libya, emails show Hilary as central to banking, intelligence agencies, arms companies and mechanisms of establishment, the much touted claim of Wikileaks as in collusion with Russia, discounted by the 800,000 documents critical of Russia.
Below are some of the key transcribed quotes from Julian Assange’s incredible interview with John Pilger. Watch the full interview below.
Assange discusses Wikileaks’ publication of just over 33,000  Clinton emails written during her time as Secretary of State. The remaining portion of the total of the 60,000 emails on her private server have been kept by herself.
Separate to these are the Podesta emails. John Podesta was Hilary Clinton’s primary campaign manager at the time of her bid for the US presidency
Assange, discussing the content of the emails, says; “There is quite a lot of pay for play, giving access in exchange for money from many different states, individuals and corporations.”
Of Clinton’s claims that Russia was Wikileaks’ source for the emails Assange states: “The Clinton campaign has been able to project a kind of Neo-McCarthyist hysteria that Russia is responsible for everything”. “Hilary Clinton stated multiple times, falsely that 17 US intelligence agencies had assessed that Russia was the source of our publications – that’s false, we can say that the Russian government is not the source.”

On the contributions given by state actors to the Clinton Foundation while Hilary was US Secretary of State, Assange discusses one email in particular: “There’s an early 2014 email from Hilary Clinton, not so long after she left the Secretary of State, to her campaign manager, that email states that ISIS is funded by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the governments of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.” He states, “Actually, I think this is the most significant email in the whole collection, perhaps because Saudi and Qatari money is spread all over the place including into many media institutions. Analysts know, even the US government has mentioned, or agreed with, that some Saudi figures have been supporting ISIS, funding ISIS, but the dodge has always been that it’s just some rogue princes using their cut of the oil money to do whatever they like but actually the government disapproves, but that email says that no, it’s the governments of Saudi and the governments of Qatar that have been funding ISIS.”
John Pilger discusses the fact that Saudis, Qataris, Moroccans and Bahrainis have been giving money to the Clinton Foundation while Hilary Clinton is Secretary of State and the State Department was approving massive arms sales, particularly to Saudi Arabia.  Julian confirms that “Under Hilary Clinton, and the Clinton emails reveal significant discussion about it, the largest ever arms deal in the world was made with Saudi Arabia, more than $80 billion, in fact during her tenure as Secretary of State, total arms exports from the United States, doubled.”
Assange discusses Clinton as a person, stating he feels quite sorry for her as she is “Someone who’s eaten alive by their ambitions.” He goes on to say that she represents a whole network of people and relationships with particular states. He describes her as a ‘Centralising cog, with a lot of different gears in operation from the big banks like Goldman Sachs and major elements of Wall Street and intelligence and people in the State Department, she’s the centraliser that interconnects all these different cogs.” These elements basically constitute the power in the United States, the shorthand for them being ‘the establishment’.
The Obama administration was also in the thrall of these same elements. Assange states, “One of the more significant Podesta emails was about how the Obama cabinet was formed and half of the Obama cabinet was basically nominated by a representative from CitiBank – it was quite amazing.” “If you were following the Obama campaign back then closely, you could see it had become very close to banking interests.”
On the invasion of Libya, Assange states, “Libya, more than anyone else’s war was Hilary’s war. Barack Obama, initially opposed it, who was the person who was championing it, it was Hilary Clinton – that’s documented throughout her emails, she put her favoured agent Sidney Blumenthal onto that, there’s more than 1,700 out of the 33,000 Hilary Clinton emails we published, just about Libya. It’s not about cheap oil, she perceived the removal of Gaddafi and the overthrow of the Libyan state as something that she would use to run in the general election for President. Importantly he discusses, “In late 2011 there’s an internal document called the ‘Libya tick-tock that is produced for Hilary Clinton and it’s a chronological description of how Hilary Clinton was the central figure in the destruction of the Libyan state, resulting in 40,000 deaths.”
Assessing the upcoming 2016 election Assange says, “Banks, intelligence agencies, arms companies, big foreign money is all united behind Hilary Clinton – and the media as well, media owners and even journalists themselves.”
On the accusation that Wikileaks is in league with the Russians, Julian states, “We have published over 800,000 documents that relate to Russia, most of those are critical, a great many books have come out of our publications about Russia, most of which are critical, and our documents have gone on to be used in quite a number of court cases, refugee cases of people fleeing some kind of claimed political persecution in Russia which they use our documents to back up.”
On his confinement to the Ecuadorian Embassy, Assange states, “The White House is fuelling the political heat as a result of the true information that we have been publishing.”
It’s quite clear from this interview of two and a half years ago that the prolonged incarceration of Julian Assange benefits certain players. Hilary Clinton and the network of ‘gears’ around her will be subject to unwelcome scrutiny should Assange be allowed to speak openly to any media not in the thrall of her and her network.
