U.S.-backed People's Protection Units (YPG) freed 400 Daesh terrorists last month and 120 others joined the umbrella organization Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) that includes the terrorist group, Russian ambassador to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia said late Thursday.The YPG is the armed Syrian affiliate of the PKK, a globally-recognized terrorist group, and the SDF is the umbrella organization dominated by YPG.The ambassador also said that this problem is ignored by the U.S. and accused America of double standards in fight against terror."The fact that such an issue remains virtually unnoticed serves as a testament to a persistent double standard with respect to terrorists," Nebenzia said.
"All those who delivered direct or indirect assistance to ISIL, not to mention the fighters themselves, must be held to account," he added, using an alternative acronym for Daesh terrorist group.

A new statement from the Russian ambassador to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, has revealed that the boundaries between Daesh and the People's Protection Units (YPG) are once again fading away in northern Syria as former Daesh terrorists have allegedly joined the ranks of the PKK-affiliated YPG.The Russian diplomat said late Thursday that the U.S.-backed YPG freed 400 Daesh terrorists last month and 120 others joined the umbrella organization, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which includes the YPG. The YPG is the armed wing of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Syrian affiliate the PKK, a globally recognized terrorist group, and the SDF is the umbrella organization dominated by the YPG.
The ambassador also said the U.S. ignores this problem and he accused it of double standards in the fight against terrorist.

The permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, told the UN Security Council on Thursday that the Syrian Democratic Forces had invited members of IS to fight within their ranks. In response, Redur Khalil, a spokesperson for the Syrian Democratic Forces accused Russia of making false statements that legitimize an "aggression on Afrin and justify an unjust war."

Manbij was extremely contentious because the US had assured Turkey that Kurds (YPG/PKK) were going to leave- they of course didn't. As was the plan. And so called ISIS just walked away

FWIW: I believe the Kurdish Pashmerga and ISIS to be joined at the hip to the American/Israeli evil twins.
It seems much more likely that there is cooperation and coordination between the Kurds and ISIS. It’s a thought that has been in the back of my mind for sometime now. When one takes a look at the land grabbed by ISIS and the desired Kurdistan one can’t help but see something taking shape. Something like a new nation.Back in August 2014- ISIS took Mosul and then the Kurds took it back, including that all important dam!The Kurds also kicked ISIS to the curb in Sinjar.
