Lance deHaven-Smith on Conspiracy Theory in America

Dr. Lance deHaven-Smith joins Our Interesting Times to discuss his book Conspiracy Theory in America. We talk about how the term "conspiracy theory" has been used to marginalize those who question the official narrative of certain political events and discourage critical thinking and free inquiry.
Dr. Lance deHaven-Smith is a Professor Emeritus in the Reubin O’D. Askew School of Public Administration and Policy at Florida State University. A former President of the Florida Political Science Association, he is the author, coauthor, or editor of 15 books on topics ranging from religion and political philosophy to Florida government and politics.
