Eric Draitser of StopImperialism.org provides his commentary (March 18, 2016) on the report that the US will work with the International Criminal Court in collecting evidence of ISIS/ISIL genocide. Draitser notes that US promises are disingenuous as Washington has been instrumental in facilitating the rise of the terror group. He notes that the US and ISIS/ISIL have similar goals for the region, and that their geopolitical and strategic objectives coincide nicely. Draitser also adds that US is not a member of the ICC, and that it is yet another example of Washington using international institutions for its own political ends.
