Eric Draitser of StopImperialism.org appears on Press TV (July 14, 2015) to provide his analysis of the agreement reached between Iran and the P5+1 countries. Draitser explains that, despite the celebratory rhetoric, key aspects of the West’s economic and political war against Iran remain intact. He notes that the US especially wanted this agreement to integrate Iran into the West’s system of international finance capital, and prevent it from becoming a key asset of the non-Western system embodied in BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and other emerging institutions.
