Eric Draitser of StopImperialism.org appears on RT (May 3, 2015) to provide his analysis of the breaking news from Texas of a shooting at an anti-Islam event. Draitser explains that such events are organized by racists with a political agenda to incite hatred in order to justify both their racism and the imperialist agenda of the US in the Middle East and around the world. He notes that the narrative of “Islam as the enemy” is central to polarizing American public opinion in order to exploit divisions and ignorance for political gain. He adds that any investigation should include careful examination of the organizers such as Pam Geller, who funds them, and what the motivations of their backers truly are.
