(ANTIWAR.COM) The civilian death toll of the US air war against ISIS continues to soar today, with the latest US strikes against the ISIS capital city of Raqqa leveled a large apartment building in the residential area of the city, killing at least 43 civilians and wounding many others.

While the US has presented the area north of the ISIS capital of Raqqa as virtually all “liberated” by Kurdish forces, that doesn’t mean US warplanes aren’t still launching airstrikes against the villages in the region, often with horrific results.

(REPORT) — The Pentagon latest official accounting of civilians killed in US airstrikes in Iraq and Syria follows the same formula as all of the previous reports, admitting to just a tiny fraction of the number of civilians known to be killed, and leaving the overall toll laughably below the estimates by interested NGOs.
Locals say 36 civilians were killed from a US airstrike last Thursday.
