Man ska inte ha en för stor tilltro till att omfattande nedstängningar har en avgörande effekt på smittspridingen. Det poängterar Folkhälsomyndighetens generaldirektör Johan Carlson när pandemilagen nu fått grönt ljus.
– Att tro att man kan stänga ner affärer och få en väldigt stor effekt på smittspridningen, där tror jag man tar fel, säger Carlson i Aktuellt.
I dag antogs den nya pandemilagen som bland annat ger regeringen större möjligheter att stänga butiker, gym och biografer. Folkhälsomyndighetens generaldirektor pekar dock på att smittan lär fortsätta spridas även om Sverige skulle stänga ner i större utsträckning än i dag.
