Five years ago, authorities swore that robots would not be armed with lethal force. Moral and ethical restraint have obviously failed as the barriers are now broken down in Oakland, California as well as New Zealand. Only to be used in "emergency" situations, police leadership reserve the right to declare when and where such emergency would exist.
